De la autoficción a la ficción colectiva: Y todos éramos actores: un siglo de luz y sombra de Gustavo Gac-Artigas

Resumen: El propósito de este estudio es explorar la expansión de las fronteras de la autoficción a través del análisis de Y todos éramos actores: un siglo de luz y sombra del escritor y director de teatro chileno Gustavo Gac-Artigas, novela que si bien se inserta en el género de la autoficción de acuerdo a los parámetros establecidos por Doubrovsky (1977), Lecarme (1984) y Delaume (2010 a) traspasa sus confines, y al hacerlo, lleva al lector de la autoficción asentada en el “yo”, a crear junto al autor-narrador-protagonista la colecficción o ficción colectiva de una época. Nos interesa sacar a la luz los recursos de los que se sirve Gac-Artigas para establecer un pacto de lectura que le permite al lector sumarse y sentirse participante en la (re)creación de esa ficción colectiva, entre los que se destacan el desarrollo de la metáfora del theatrum mundi y la utilización de la autoficción como laboratorio de experimentación total (Delaume, 2010b) donde todo se puede.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explore the expansion of the frontiers of autofiction through the analysis of And All of Us Were Actors: A Century Of Light And Shadow by Chilean writer and theater director Gustavo Gac-Artigas. According to the parameters established by Doubrovsky (1977), Lecarme (1984) and Delaume (2010 a) this novel perfectly represents the genre, but at the same time, by using the autofiction in the novel as a laboratory of total experimentation (Delaume, 2010b) and by (re)creating the fiction through the use of the theatrum mundi metaphor, he surpasses the limits of autofiction and compels the reader to join him in the construction of the collectfiction or collective fiction of an era.
