La función religiosa de las ciudades meridionales de la Hispania Tardoantigua

Abstract

It is a common place of the current discussion throughout the last years the remarcable presence of the cities during the Late Antiquity. As mather of fact, this can be noticed, indoubtedly, in the Southem area ofHispania. The cities were conforming themselves to the new times developing different functions, most of all documented previously. Among them, the religious function, linked directly with the ever-growing extension of Christianity, stands out.
