Sententiae et Apophthegmata in Ludovico Granatensi

Abstract

We pose three questions in this article: First, wich doctrine was inherited by the Renacentist rhetoric from the Classic W orld about sententiae and apophthegmata; Second, what did our "dominico" from Granada know about is?, how did he understand its contents? Last but not least, what differences were established between both resources by Fray Luis de Granada?.
