El mito clásico en la novela corta española del siglo XVII

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine sorne features and functions of the Classical Mythology in the so-called short novel in Spain in the pth century. We analyse the erudite, comparative, paradigmatic, recreative and burlesque functions of the myth in several authors.
