“Pax Orbis Terrarum”. La pax en la moneda romana

Abstract

In these pages we ofer an insight on pax romana through the study of coins. Its iconographic analysis allows us to appreciate the symbolic variety in the representation of the pax. This diversity entails implicity a semantic as well as an iconological richness that manifests the presence of peace in the multiple dimensions of their social reality.
