INFLUENCIA DE LA ADICIÓN DE UREA EN LA DIGESTIBILIDAD DE HENOS EN OVIDOS
Abstract
El aporte de urea a raciones energéticamente pobres, con abundante fibra bruta y escasa cantidad de hidratos de carbono y grasa, tales como heno de prado empleado por nosotros, que como era de esperar, no es rentable, ya que aumenta el costo de la ración, sin incrementarse los coeficientes de transformación. El coeficiente de digestibilidad aparente de la fracción proteica se encuentra notablemente elevado cuando los animales ingieren urea; por e1 contrario, los coeficientes de los restantes nutrientes son algo inferiores en relación a los obtenidos cuando consumían heno sólo. Los principios digestibles totales son ligeramente inferiores cuando se le adiciona urea al heno, pese a que naturalmente en los cálculos se ha tenido en cuenta, el aporte adicional a la proteína del nitrógeno ureico. Todo lo anteriormente expuesto nos ha llevado a realizar experiencias en marcha, en las que se trata de conocer la influencia de la urea en raciones con un mayor poder energético.
