Abstract
In this study the authors quantifiythe potential soilloss produced in a pilot area of north Sierra Nevada (Almería province), as a consequence of water erosiono calculation was carried out by means of USLE, making a detailed analysis ofthe several factors that influenced it. Results on soil potentialloss, expresses as t/ha/year and mm/year led us to asseses it is slight or nule trough practically all the territory, except on certain little areas where it is moderate.
