Abstract
It was carried out a study of the alkali released by the inner surface of different size and colour ampoules which were provided by a well-reputed national firmo Volumetric methods outlined in U.S.P. and B.P. were used for the valuation. Results obtained with both methods were compared and U.S.P. demostrated to be the most reliableone.
