Abstract
Se han seleccionado algunas especies de plantas endémicas de Sierra Nevada, por ser utilizadas, aún en la actualidad, por los naturales de la zona como "plantas medicinales", conservándose las costumbres tradicionales de aplicación, con finalidad de alivio o curación de trastornos corporales de tipo funcional u orgánico. Las especies en cuestión son: Artemisia granatensis Boiss.; Sideritis glacialis Bois.; Sideritis hirsuta L. val. nivalis Font Quer; Acinos alpinus (L.) Moench subsp. meridionalis (Nyman) P.W. Ball y Thymus granatensis Boiss., dando de las mismas datos ecológicos derivados de apreciaciones y observaciones realizadas en sus respectivos hábitats naturales.
