Abstract
In the present work, it was studied the influence of KNO3 in crystals formation of CaCO3 by 96 bacterial strains isolated from soil. This influence is null or very weak, so the KNO3 could be excluded of the culture media to investigate crystals formation, without greats consequences for it.
