Abstract

A spectrophotometric and spectrofluorometric study of diacetildiisonicotin hydrazone (dDIH)-Sn(II) complex has been realized. The reagent dDIH was formerly reported by us. It is soluble in water, and yelow, in acid and basic media. At acid pH is fluorescent, obeies Beer's law and molar absortivity, stoichiometry and minimum photometric error according to Ringbom are
described dDIH-Sn(II) complex also obeles Beer's law for the fluorescence, in which a 2 ppb in Sn(II) sensitivity is attained.
