Abstract
En un anterior trabajo (1) hablamos de la linea investigadora que seguíamos sobre la preparación de formas farmacéuticas y fórmulas más conocidas en el periodo comprendido entre los S. XVI-XVIII, ambos inclusive, y consignadas en textos españoles no oficiales, junto con un estudio complementario sobre lo que verdaderamente habían recogido las farmacopeas españolas de todo ese bagaje de fórmulas. Si aquel primer intento fue sobre las píldoras, éste de hoy será sobre los ungüentos, término con indudables evocaciones históricos.
