The present work advances knowledge of the intensity of bitter pit and its relationship with the nutritional contento A nutritional imbalallce was detected with respect to Ca, CalB and CalMg, as well as a physiological imbalance with regard to N, NO), B, NICa, KICa, K+MgICa, NO/Ca and PICa. These imbalances dilute the effect of Ca by favouring greater fruit growth, aided by the prevailing envirollmelltal cOllditiolls which affected the translocation of calcium towards the fmil during the development. This disorder appears with greater intellsity after the harvest.
