Abstract

This work analyzes the tool Total Talent Portfolio designed by Renzulli & Reis (1997) and the necessary phases for its realization, in order to make a cognitive profile of the student with high abilities and thus, offer the appropriate educational response. The elaboration of the Total Talent Portfolio is the first necessary step in “the Schoolwide Enrichment Model” developed by Renzulli & Reis (1997), which aims at talent development and high-level education.  The work addresses each of the criteria taken into account in the Total Talent Portfolio and the questionnaires created by the author himself to study the personal characteristics of each student, culminating with the development of the Total Talent Portfolio, all translated into Spanish for its use.
