This work will be focused on how high school-stage ADHD students could gain the benefits of mindfulness, such as improving their executive functions, emotions, and social relationships. In order to do that, it has been established a theoretical and practical connection to show how this therapy is suitable for the aforementioned disorder. The Mindfulness’ Program "Happy Classrooms" will be adapted and contextualized, and its main aim is reducing symptoms such as hyperactivity/impulsivity, inattention, and channeling of emotions through an expositional and observational methodology. Finally, a pre/post evaluation heading and an observational record will be attached for possible implementation.
