Abstract

The objective of this study is to understand the influence of interactions within in-classroom and virtual settings on students’ learning processes. To this end, the researchers have conducted a case study of a fifteen-year-old ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education) student. We have used as information-collection tools a series of in-depth interviews. The results demonstrate the great potential of social media to develop and influence learning, identity, and social capital among adolescents.
