Abstract

This article documents the set of four paintings, which formed part of the legacy of the Captain Antonio Gómez de Barreda, which donated to the monastery of Dominican nuns of Mother of God, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cadiz), in 1826. From medium sized, on copper, a Dolorosa and an Ecce-Homo are signed and dated, in 1790, by Manuel Salcedo, and a Virgin of Guadalupe and a San Antonio with the Child, in Mexico, in 1803, by the painter Andrés López.
