Abstract

We believe it is necessary to work on intercultural and emotional competences in the context of the teacher training. Nowadays we consider them in continuous revision due to their complexity and the new pedagogical approaches. In this way, we consider that emotional and intercultural competences must be present in any educational reflection because of the interest settled in the development of people. On the other hand, our societies are increasingly more complex and culturally diverse, which undoubtedly they should lead us to reflect on the need to articulate competences that improve the relations of coexistence that help us to build a plural and democratic citizenship.
