This review clarifies the author's position regarding the problems of the thesaurus on the topic of the estate in contemporary literature within an interdisciplinary approach. It examines the reciprocal influences of literary studies, geography and art history in the study of farm texts and defines the concept of "literary landscape". This review represents an attempt by the author to give character to the rural life model of a "dacha" and that of a farm. The author focuses his attention on the chapters of the monograph devoted to the analysis of the "topos of the Russian estate" in the works of Sergey Yesenin, Nikolai Kliuyev, Ivan Shmelyov, Boris Zaytsev. In addition, the annex containing materials of the practical work in the preparation of strategic planning carried out by the author for some literary estates – museums is included.
