The Lexico-Semantic Field "Person" in the Language of the Ukrainian Folk Song

This article is devoted to the different denominations referring to human beings in the texts of Ukranian folk songs. Attention centres on the semantic structure of the word-concepts girl and fellow, as well as on the semantics of their components and figurative meaning, which materialize in the linguistic image of the world.
