Con este artículo queremos demostrar que el mundo estético de la dilogías autobiográfica de Yu. Dombrovsky se funda en dos principios contradictorios. Por una parte, el autor describe lo realmente vivido y por otra, materializa sus deseos ocultos y esperanzas frustradas. De acuerdo con la lógica impuesta por estos dos principios, lo que debería infundir los remordimientos da lugar a la glorificación.
En las novelas que forman parte de la dilogía autobiográfica “The Keeper of Antiquities” y “The Faculty of Useless Knowledge” observamos como el hombre entra en la lucha con las fuerzas del mal y sale victorioso de lo que parecía una situación desesperanzada.
