Ciuitates y etnias epónimos en el área ibérica: las excepciones ( Contestani, Lacetani, Cerretani)

Abstract

All the populi or gentes amongst the iberi, whose names we know thanks to classic texts, have an eponym capital with only a very few not on record. We try to find an explanation for this apparently anomalous fact. The case of contestani, lacetani and cerretani are particularly outstanding.
