Virgilio y la teoría poética renacentista: La Praefatio in Georgica Vergilii de Luis Vives

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the reasons of the unanimous consideration of Vergil in the European Renaissance as summus poeta; for that purpose we concentrate on the Praefatio in Georgica Vergilii, frrst work written by the humanist Luis Vives in connection with Vergil's universe.
