Abstract

The decadence and ruin of cities in Roman Spain since Third Century A.C. is a triditional idea in our historiography. This statement is based ou two facts: the frank and alaman invasions, and the country/cíty fighting duality. But a study in detail of the sources, taking into account the regional and cronological differences.
