L'hexametre latin: une stylistique des styles métriques

Abstract

The formal and functional organization of latin hexameter leads to bring out different poetical effects and so many stylistic categories. A range of proceedings skillfully manages metrical and verbal forms, alternating or combining feet, phonic lines, metrical words, caesuras, weight of words and groups of meaning results in different stylistic manners and constitutes so many specific categories, but also even more shows to what metrical variations can achieve distinct effects and metamorphose the genuine properties of hexameter. So that the latin hexameter yields to various ways of many metrical styles.
