La mitología en los Cancioneros de Estúñiga, Palacio y Juan Alfonso de Baena

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the mythological references and the functionality which they have been introduced by many poets in the lyrics that compound the "Cancioneros de Estúñiga", "Palacio" and "Cancionero de Juan Alfonso de Baena". This paper has been divided in the following way: after a brief description of the three collections of lyrics and a shallow exposition of the peculiarities that define the lyric poems of the age, of which this lyric poems are the most representative, we have put face to which we consider the purpose of the paper, this is, the sorting of the divinities evocations and characters of the classic mythology from the perspective of the objectives they have been used with.
