Primeras traducciones de los trágicos griegos en lengua castellana

Abstract

First translations of Greek tragedies into Spanish Language: Greek tragedies were translated into Spanish Language at late time (in " Silver Age" of Spanish Literature). In this paper, we will analyse the different fate of Aeschylus (all bis tragedies were translated by Brieva Salvatierra in 1880), Sophocles (bis translator, Alemany Bolufer, will have to wait until 1921) and Euripides (all bis work was published by Mier in 1909 and 1910) into Spanish Language.
