Abstract

In the following pages we offer the studies and works more relevants that from the 18th century have been published on the life and management of Cn. Pompeius Magnus and C. Iulius Caesar. The wide historiographic production and the diversity of interpretations on the above mentioned prominent figures they have led us to defending the existence of several Pompeius and Caesares.
