El pensamiento ético de Séneca en el opúsculo A los jóvenes de Basilio de Cesarea

Abstract

This paper aims to show the coalesce of ideas between Basil of Caesarea's
thought, in his pamphlet 'To the young,' and Seneca. These similarities do not consist oftextual quotations but of re presentations or memories of the  philosopher's ethical doctrine. This allows to infer that the ethical doctrine of stoicism exerted a very deep influence on christianity in the frrst year so four era. Besides, Seneca's thought can be recognized in many issues relevant to the view that christianism has of manand, hence, S t. Basil.
