Elementos fabulísticos en las Narraciones de Conón

Abstract

One of the elements to highlight in the heterogeneity of Konon's Narratives is the presence of fabulistic elements either in the narr. 42 (explicitly entitled "Fable"), or along the 50 narratives. In this paper we study the Konon' s tradition and innovation in the version of the Stesichorean fable (narr. 42) and in another fabulistic story (narr. 38) also known by Herodotus (V1. 86) and Stobaeus (III.28.2 1 ), besides it can be also stressed the aspects that
connect these stories with the Cappadocian monarch whom the Mythographer dedicated his Narratíves and with the rethorical and stilistic assessments included by Photius in the summary of Konon's work (cod. 186).
