Abstract

The aim of the present paper is to contribute to the understanding of the process of Romanization in Granada by analyzing a set of documents found in different places within the province. These are: (1) three inscriptions found in the district of El Albaicín, (2) an inscription found in Moclín-Limones, and (3) several fragmented inscriptions and one signaculum found in Baza. I also include the analysis of an inscription found in Fuerte del Rey (Jaén) in which Betatvn, the first Iberian deity, is mentioned.
