The CEA (Centro de Estudios Agrarios/ Centre for Agrarian Studies) aims at providing the user with a complete overview of the development and transformations undergone by the countryside of Extremadura from the mid-19th century to the end of the last century using a diversity of objects, documents and publications. It also aims to have and disseminate works that review that period in its Central Library. Furthermore, the CEA has the capacity to edit and publish some of these specialized publications through the Printing and Publications unit of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development, Population and Territory. In this experience, we provide the reader with a brief description of the contents of its Historical Archive.
