Abstract

The aim of this study was to specify the educational purposes of Digital Teaching Competence in the specific context of higher education, specifically, in the curriculum and the profile of the future teacher. Its purpose was the critical analysis and reflection on the use of new technologies in the Degree in Primary Education Teacher and the elaboration of strategies to promote the development of specific digital skills in our students. We carried out a review our own teaching practice, the curriculum, the profile of the students, the curriculum of our university and the contents of the 4th year optional subject "New technologies applied to music”. The results are an analysis of the context and the specific competences of the Degree, the creation of contents in relation to digital resources, and the design of materials and activities adapted to the student’s profile.
