Abstract

Continuing the work about the use of Anthrapurpurine for the spectrophotometric determination of Ca (II), a study is made of the satibility of hydro-alcoholics solutions of Anthrapurpurine and Anthrapurpurine-Ca complex in amoniacal media. Since the solutions of the mentioned complex are sufficiently stable and obeys the Lambert-Beer's law for concentrations from 1 to 8 ppm, a method for the determination of Ca (II) is proposed. The error and reproducibility of this method is stablished.
