Influence of antioxidants on the alterability of ceratos
Abstract
The hydrated ceratos of similar formula to the whale sperm cerato of F.E. IX, that is, with rose water and sodium borate in its composition, do not improve its preservability by adding any of the antioxidants. Nor is it improved if the rose water is replaced by distilled water and the same thing happens with the anhydrous excipient.
