AN EASY TO USE FRACTION COLECTOR
Abstract
Elution chromatography has found multiple applications in the biochemical field, both in the analytical aspect of natural mixtures of analogous substances, non-separable by other procedures, and in the preparatory aspect of isolation of a specific substance apart from the analogous ones that accompany it in the natural environment. However, it has not become an ordinary method of work, perhaps because the automatic collectors of fractions, an indispensable complement for this type of chromatography, are relatively expensive and in many cases their price is prohibitive. We have solved this difficulty by building the automatic collector, whose description is made in this article, which does not require special material, is simple and relatively inexpensive construction.Downloads
