Pirfenidona, el ultimo aliento (FPI)
Abstract
Son muchos los caminos que nos llevan a la muerte, entre las enfermedades, la fibrosis pulmonar idiopática (FPI) pudiera ser una de las “autopistas” más crueles y desesperanzadoras de todas, tanto por su brutal progresión como por la angustia de ver de forma consciente el fugaz avance sin remisión, en un “corredor de la muerte” en el que la vida nos sitúa sin absolución, sin esperanza, sin tan siquiera aire. En este artículo explicaré cual es la única alternativa de tratamiento que puede llegar a frenar el avance de esta enfermedad, sus indicaciones farmacoterápicas y el modo de conseguir su autorización de tratamiento en España ya que aunque está autorizada su comercialización no está financiado por el Sistema Nacional de Salud (SNS).Downloads
