Abstract
A series of hydrazinomethylimidazole 1-sustituted was prepared and evaluated for their monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitory activity. In vitro testing revealed that the 1-arylimidazole derivatives were selectively inhibitors of MAO A at low concentrations.
