Abstract
Cultured fish are continuously under stress conditions. The knowledge of all the factors influencing such physiological state and the changes they can produce in normal fish performance is of major importance for a good management of a fish factory. In this review, endocrine, metabolic, tissue, physiological and behavioral changes in fish are discussed.
