Abstract
The medicinal properties of the jambul Syzygium jambolanum have been repeatedly studied in recent occasions with the applications that it has in popular medical practice for the treatment of the symptoms of diabetes mellitus. This paper refers the hypoglycemic effects of the extract of dry leaves of S. jambolanum in the rat.
