Abstract
1-p-Methoxyphenyl-4-(aryliminomethyl) imidazole (1) is synthetized by reaction of l-p-methoxyphenyl-4-formylimidazole with arylarnine. Reduction of 1 give 1-p-methoxyphenyl-4-(arylaminomethyl) imidazole (II). The configuration of 1 has been established by 1 H-NMR.
