Abstract
Se estudia la influencia de la edad y la raza en la capaddad de respuesta inmunitaria de ratones de laboratorio. Los parámetros investigados fueron: respuesta de leucocitos peritoneales (número total y porcentaje de fagocitos) al estímulo inflamatorio debido a la inyección intraperitoneal de una bacteria patógena gram negativa (Yersinia enterocolítica); y la respuesta de células formadoras de anticuerpos hemolíticos (de la clase IgM) en el bazo y títulos séricos de hemaglutininas totales y resistentes al 2 Mercaptoetanol de ratones inmunizados previamente con hematíes de carnero. Se observaron claras diferencias de respuesta entre ratones de diferente edad y raza, y se evalúa la influencia de ambos factores en los mecanismos
inmunitarios.
