Abstract
We study these two Royal Apothecaries, native to France, who cane with the retinve of the french infantas on the oeeasion of the royal weddings held with spanisch kings. They were John Gabeaux who carne serving the infante Doña Isabel de Borbón, wife of philip IV and Ramon Verdier who accampanied Doña M.ª Luisa de Orleans, the First wife of Charles II. Both apothecaries, enjoyed the favour of their queens and obviously of all howours and privileges according with their jobs.
