Abstract
It has beeen observed a decrease in the rate of growth when Myxococcus coralloides D grows in media supplemented with glucose. Also maxima values reached in cell number and optical density were delayed with respect to culture without glucose. Besides, a retard in the phase of death occurred in CT 0.5% media added with glucose.
