Intestinal parasitism prevalence in the emigrants from several world countries
Abstract
A bibliographic review has been made of intestinal parasites in emigrants from
countries with a high degree of parasite deseases a consequense of their sanitary and
climatological conditions.
The specific names of Protozoa and Helminths that are schown on the charts arein
an abreviated fonn due to space requirements.
Protozoa: Entamoeba coli (E. C.), Entamoeba histolítica (E.h.), Giardia lamblia
(G.l.), Chilomastix mesnili (Ch. m.), Trichomonas hominis (T.h.), Endolimax nana (E.n.),
Iodamoeba bütschlii (I.b.) y Dientamoeba fragilis (D.f.)
Helminths: Ascaris lumbricoides (Al.) Trichuris trichiura (T.t.), Enterobius vermicularis
(E.v.), Hymenolepis nana (H.n.), Taenia sp. (T.sp.), Ancylostoma duodenale (Ad.),
Strongyloides stercoralis (St.s.), Schistosoma mansoni (Sch.m.)
