Abstract

It is provided a method to quantify secondary amines through the formation of

dithiocarbamates of Cu (H) and Ni (H) in mixtures dioxane-water to the 94%. It has

been applied to the determination of (a-[buthylamino-methyl-]4- hydroxibenzilmethanol

and of (a-[ethylamino-methyl-]3- hydroxibenzilmethanol, both amines of known

sympathycomimetic action.
