Semi-defmed medium for cultivating Leishmania infantum promastigotes.
Keywords:
Leishmania infantum, Promastigotas, Serni-defined mediaAbstract
A chemically serni-defined serum free medium, to grow the promastigotes of
Leishmania infantum is described. The medium PM-SFCM was used and modified by
the addition of hemin and/or nutritional supplement. The best results were obtained by
using PM-SFCM with both hemin and nutritional supplement.
