Scientific diffusion of the Faculty of Phannacy from Granada. A bibliometric study of Ars Pharmaceutica in its first age: 1960-1993
Abstract
A bibliometric study of the articles published from 1960-1993 in the joumal Ars Pharmaceutica has been realized with the purpose of evaluating the scientific diffusion of the Faculty of Pharmacy from Granada (Spain).
In the 883 articles published original of School (77,8%) and content area Pharmacy Practice (11,6%) were the predominant. The annual production index was 1,42. The average of signatures per article was 2,62, increasing with the time and the transience rate, 81,8%. The colaboration between centres was 14,5% and between institutions 9,8%. The average of bibliographical references per article was 1,92, with a 31,6% in spanish language. The self-citations were the 2,8%.
We concluyed that the scientific production of Ars Pharmaceutica introduce a typical characteristic and other ones similar with other biomedical publications, and it would be advisable an increment of the colaboration between the centres and the institutions.
