Abstract

1. The presence of an essence in Tecrium eriocephalum is demonstrated whose quantitative values ​​range between 0.64 and 1.10%. 2. The essence is extracted as a yellow liquid, fluid, with a strong characteristic odor and a very bitter taste. 3. The existence of flavones in T. eriocephalum is demonstrated. 4. The presence of mucilaginous substances is also demonstrated. 5. The existence of quinonic derivatives is not confirmed. 6. The existence of resins and tannins in alcoholic, ethereal and chloroformic extractive liquids is demonstrated. 7.
