In Sexistence, Jean-Luc Nancy surprises us with a complete tour of the main themes of his thought through the light of a new perspective: the one offered by the thought of sex and desire. Although these themes were not foreign to his previous writings, they were always left aside before the centrality of the question of sense. In this text he will clarify for us that the question about sense, this always fruitless but always necessary search for a sense of sense, did not refer to anything other than a “desire for sense”. This book, then, shows us a mature thinker illuminating the course of his work from an angle that allows us to outline new lights and shadows to the question that has always accompanied him.
